QPP Gender F*ckery @WildFlowStudio

Queer Pole Play has evolved through multiple formats, from its playful beginnings to editions exploring sensuality, slinkiness, and the fluid performance of masc. This format brings these threads together in a pole workshop that celebrates gender fluidity, self-expression, and joyful embodiment.

QPP Gender F*ckery invites queer, trans, non-binary, and intersex peeps – especially Black, brown, indigenous, neurodivergent and fat / larger-bodied people – whose bodies and experiences are often underrepresented in pole spaces to explore movement and their unique connection to the pole. The focus is on curiosity, play, and permission: breaking open gender stereotypes or leaning into them, blending power with softness, and finding pleasure in movement that refuses to fit a single frame.
After the introduction Michelle (they/them/M) will facilitate about 80 minutes guided learning of pole and floor work technique with a playful and exploratory approach, creating a safeR space to engage with your body, be curious, and express creativity outside of binary norms.

So, 21.06. 14:30 | 120min
Flow Lab – Movement Dialogues @WildFlowStudio
This workshop invites people of all experience levels to explore the pole as a partner for playful dialogue.
Through guided exploration, improvisation, and various tasks, you’ll discover how pole techniques — whether familiar or new — can become personal movement explorations. Rather than striving for a specific aesthetic, the focus is on feeling and discovering possibilities. We prioritize curiosity and playfulness, cultivating a dynamic, embodied practice where there is no single “right way” to move. In a supportive, encouraging environment, you’ll explore movement, pause to reflect, and have the opportunity to share insights with others.
Whether you’re just starting out with freestyle or already have experience, this workshop will expand your freestyle skills and give you tools for your practice.

Who is this workshop for? Pole beginners and beyond who want grow their movement confidence and explore their way of moving
Prerequisites: Basic low flow pole skills (forward and backward spin technique, familiarity with various grips and contact points; some floorwork experience helpful)
Equipment: Something to write with, knee pads (recommended), comfortable clothing, shorts optional

So, 28.06. & 05.06. 18:15 | 120min each
2-Week Pride Month Special @PoleKollektiv

QPP Pride Month Special invites queer*, trans, non-binary, and intersex peeps – especially Black, brown, indigenous, neurodivergent and fat / larger-bodied people – whose bodies and experiences are often underrepresented in pole spaces to explore movement and their unique connection to the pole. The focus is on curiosity, play, and permission: breaking open gender stereotypes or leaning into them, blending power with softness, and finding pleasure in movement that refuses to fit a single frame.

After the introduction Michelle (they/them/M) will facilitate about 80 minutes guided learning of pole and floor work technique (including heels/sneaker specifics) with a playful and exploratory approach, creating a safeR space to engage with your body, be curious, and express creativity outside of binary norms. At the end there will be time to explore on your own, connect with others or just hang.

Do I need pole experience for this workshop? Nope, no specific movement experience, just curiosity needed.

What if I already have pole skills, is this workshop for me? Yes definitely! If you are interested in gender f*ckery and exploring your existing skills, this workshop offers space to play, unlearn, and expand your practice in a queer-centered environment.

Do, 25.06. 18:30 | 120min
Take Up Space! & let’s fill it with Queer Joy | A movement workshop @GoldenApeStudio

This workshop invites queer peeps to experience movement as play and dialogue, with the space, the music, and each other.

Instead of striving for a specific aesthetic, the focus is on sensation and discovering your own movement possibilities. Curiosity and playfulness lead the way, because there’s no single “right way” to move. Through exploration, improvisation, and guided prompts, you’ll discover what kinds of movements feel good in your body and bring you joy. Turned inward or carried outward. Slow or fast. All kinds of joy are welcome.

This workshop includes moments of solo exploration as well as invitations to work in pairs or with the group. M will guide this workshop in English and German, adapting to participant preferences. Their teaching is grounded in consent-based practice, collaboration and a learner-centered approach.

No specific movement experience, just curiosity needed. Queer peeps only. All queer bodies and all identities are welcome. Unsure if you are queer enough? Yes you are welcome!
